Michel François Platini UEFA President

When Michel Platini 16 years old was a sign that Platini would be a famous football player and then a football coach and eventually became UEFA President. He draw attention in the Coupe Gambardella tournament match with an impressive display for Jœuf junior against Metz junior team . Michel Platini was born in Jœuf, France on June 21, 1955. He was a French football player and manager. On 1 November 1988 he replaced Henri Michel as a coach of the French national.

Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) "Michel Platini was elected as the sixth president of UEFA at the XXXI Ordinary UEFA Congress in Dusseldorf on 26 January 2007, and was re-elected by acclamation for a second four-year term at the XXXV Ordinary UEFA Congress in Paris on 22 March 2011. He is also a vice-president of FIFA."


As the president of UEFA, Michel Platini is responsible for:

1. Relations between UEFA and the world football body FIFA;
2. Relations between UEFA and other continental confederations;
3. Relations between UEFA and its member associations;
4. Relations between UEFA and political bodies and international
organisations;
5. Implementing the decisions of the Congress and the Executive
Committee through the UEFA administration;
6. Supervising the work of the UEFA administration.
