Japanese Bloggers are Human being

There is a Japanese bloggers community where they really help one another in Indonesia. I’m very glad although I’m not from their community but they welcome no matter where I come from.

This is very helpful for the friendship of Indonesian bloggers. Cause they realize that difference in Nations, Tribes, Skin Colous and Languages to Know One Another. I’m sure, as long as this principle becomes basic of our blogging, this will become a power of bloggers themself.

We believe that we can’t stand alone. We need others to survive wherever we are. That’s why in blogging there is a wellknown term name “Blog Walking”.

We visit the others blogs and leave “hint”, in comment box, chat box or whatever the names with one destination that the owner of the blog will return our visit by visiting our blog, of course. What happen then? We put their URL in our sidebar blog that is useful for the next occasion when we want to visit them just click it.

When the first time I know the world of blogs, I visited his blog. I got many knowledges from him. He always remind us with his famous statement:

“I'd love to see many more Indonesian bloggers blog in English, the most-widely-understood world language. So that the world knows and understands more about Indonesia by reading anything written by Blogger Indonesia. Don't let your voice echoes only in your backyard. "In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principles, stand like a rock."

That's way, in this blog I do my best to post in english although my English isn’t good enough. Whoelse can make Indonesian bloggers be proud of except ourself as Indonesians.

I find something strange when Indonesian bloggers visit English blogs. They are too lazy to make any comments. I don’t know the reasons why but as far as I know they feel lazy to translate the posting even there is “Google Translate in the blog” or maybe the posting of the blog is too long or there are some difficult words that are not familiar with the readers.

This is our homework to make Indonesian bloggers socialize blog in English, so our voices can be heard by the people around the world.

Promote Blog to Mypagerank

We can see what search engine success and fail. Then see the “Free Services” on the right side. We can use them and put in our blog.

Submit Blog to MSN

When I submitted my blog to Google then I check to write my blog title in Google Search Engine, the result satisfied me. But when I check to write my blog title in MSN Search Engine, it didn’t recognize my blog. So, I soon submitted my blog to MSN.

It’s very easy to submit our blog to MSN. We start from here , but please finish reading this before submitting.

Menu Pengaturan Komentar dalam Blogger Dot Com

Setelah mensetting menu “Format” pada blog, yang tidak kalah pentingnya adalah mengatur menu tampilan kotak komentar blog. Mengapa? Karena pada kotak komentar inilah kita akan dapat berinteraksi dengan rekan-rekan sesama blogger maupun pengunjung blog lainnya.

Pada umumnya setelah blog sudah jadi pada default dari blogger penempatan kotak komentar adalah “Disemat di bawah entri”.

Hal ini yang sering menjadi masalah. Beberapa kali saya berkunjung ke blog-blog yang memang baru ataupun agak lama lalu bermaksud memberikan komentar, namun ketika mengklik, kotak komentar tersebut tidak berfungsi dan yang lebih ironisnya sang pemilik blog tidak menyadari akan hal ini.

Untuk cara membuat kotak komentar di bawah entri disini.

Lebih lengkapnya mensetting “Pengaturan”, lalu “Komentar”, sebagai berikut:

Pada isian “Komentar” pasti kita pilih “Tampilkan” karena tujuan membuat blog adalah supaya mendapat masukan dari pengunjung tapi bila pemilik blog tidak siap untuk mendapat komentar bisa pilih “Sembunyikan. Ada menu lain dimana kotak komentar muncul dan pengunjung mengisinya tapi tidak akan bisa tampil sebelum pemilik blog meng”acc” pada isian “Moderasi komentar”

Pada isian “Siapa yang Bisa Berkomentar”, lebih baik isi “Siapapun”.

Untuk kolom isian “Penempatan Formulir Komentar”, bagi blog baru lebih baik isi yang “Halaman penuh” atau “Jendela munculan” terlebih dahulu karena ketika blog baru di buat pilihannya sudah ada yaitu “Disemat di bawah entry”. Namun kenyataannya ini belum bisa berfungsi. Kalaupun ingin difungsikan harus ada penambahan kode pada “Edit Template”.

Pada isian “Default Komentar untuk Entri”, pilih saja “Entri Baru Memiliki Komentar”.

Pada isian “Link balik”, isi saja “Tampilkan”.

Pada isian “Default Link Balik untuk Posting”, isi saja “Entri Baru Memiliki Taut Balik”.

Pada isian “Format Timestamp Komentar”, terserah pilih mana yang suka.

Pada isian “Pesan Formulir Komentar”, isi dengan kata-kata kita. Ini akan muncul di atas kotak komentar. Contoh: “Komentarnya yang membangun, yaa”.

Pada isian “Moderasi komentar”, ini hak pemilik blog seperti yang sudah diulas di atas.

Bila setiap komentar pengunjung blog tidak ingin langsung tampil tetapi ingin dicek terlebih dahulu silahkan isi “Selalu”. Tetapi, bila komentar pengunjung ingin langsung tampil, silahkan pilih “Tidak pernah”, sehingga komentar pengunjung langsung akan tampil. Dan untuk alamat email terserah di isi atau tidak.

Pada isian “Tampilkan verifikasi kata untuk komentar?”, isi saja “Ya”.

Pada isian “Tampilkan gambar profil dalam komentar?”, isi saja “Ya”.

Pada isian “Email Pemberitahuan Komentar”, isi email teman-teman kita. Maksudnya supaya teman-teman tersebut tahu ada komentar baru tiap ada pengunjung yang mengisi kotak komentar.

Terakhir, klik “Simpan Setelan”.

Baru kita mulai posting.

Tip Setelah Selesai Membuat Blog di Blogger Dot Com

Tampilan pertama ketika kita baru saja membuat sebuah blog di blogger dot com adalah seperti ini:



Kita dalam posisi siap untk posting atau membuat tulisan. Tapi, sebelumnya lebih baik atur dahulu format waktu yang muncul dalam blog kita karena masih standar blogger yaitu bukan Indonesia. Coba klik menu “Pengaturan”, lalu “Format”.



Isian pertama adalah “Tampilkan”. Maksudnya postingan/tulisan kita yang akan tampil dalam halaman muka seberapa banyak. Kita bebas memilih sekemauan tapi berdasarkan pengalaman, supaya loading blog tidak lambat lebih baik di bawah 5 posting. Dan untuk yang kotak disebelahnya biarkan tulisan “posting”, tapi bila kita tiap hari bisa membuat posting, pilih “hari”

Isian selanjutnya adalah “Format Header Tanggal”. Silahkan pilih model mana yang disukai tampilan dari tanggal yang akan tampil pada blog.

Lalu “Format Tanggal Index Arsip”. Pilih juga model tanggal untuk arsip blog yang seperti apa.

Lalu “Format Timestamp”. Pilih tampilan model jam.

Lalu, ini yang terpenting. “Zona Waktu”. Pilih (GMT+07:00) Jakarta, bila kita tinggal di Indonesia. Namun tergantung GMT.

Lalu, “Bahasa”. Terserah, kita mau bahasa utama blog adalah Indonesia atau Inggris atau yang lainnya.

Lalu,”konversi ganti baris”, isi saja “ya”. Maksudnya ketika selesai menulis 1 paragraf maka satu kali tekan enter adalah satu spasi yang dalam kode HTML :



Lalu untuk “Tampilkan Field Judul”, “Tampilkan kolom Link”, “Aktifkan perataan float”, isi saja “Ya”.

Lalu, “Template Posting” kosongkan saja dahulu. Nanti bila dalam postingan ingin menggunakan “baca selengkapnya”, kodenya simpan disini.

Yang terakhir adalah “Simpan Setelan”. Selesai sudah.

Menu selanjutnya yang tidak kalah pentingnya yang harus diatur adalah menu “Pengaturan” sub “Komentar”.
